Mark, Zach, Kartik and Lauren (see Board) co-founded Friends of Danby Inc, a new 501(c)3 with the mission of strengthening community bonds in town by creating shared spaces, organizing gatherings, and fostering connections among neighbors. Fundraising and other support of this park is one of our initial projects.
Friends of Danby Inc is not directly affiliated with the Town of Danby. Friends of Danby Inc. is an all-volunteer community organization, 100% of donations go to the projects. When supporting town projects, like the park, Friends of Danby Inc.’s role is limited to fundraising and outside support, like organizing volunteers.
